On last night’s episode of Mob Wives, Renee Graziano saw her birthday dissolve into a bloody brawl.
The fight itself took up over half the episode and escalate from a pseudo-reconciliation to an all out brawl that threatened Renee’s ex-husband ‘Juniors’ bail status.
The crashing of fists. The smashing of plates. The tugging of hair.The claws came out in full force for the second episode of “Mob Wives,” Season Two.
All Renee Graziano wanted was a “Celebration of Life” party. Instead her birthday bash turned into a Mafioso brawl of vulgarities on the balcony of The Loft at Ariana’s Grand.
Perhaps next time she’ll consider leaving two women who mutually can’t stand each other off the guest list.
Newcomer to the cast “Big Ang” Raiola assured Drita D’avanzo it was the right time to hash out her beef with Karen Gravano. Apparently she didn’t watch last season’s finale where the two yanked at each other’s hair screaming on a rooftop bar.
Drita was ready to make up and move on while Karen on the other hand wanted to pick up where they left off thanks to some hyped up fighting words from her cousin Ramona Rizzo. “Stop being nice,” she screamed in the last episode regarding Drita’s constant friendly text messages.
Why try to cool things off when you can start an all out brawl over…Wait, what exactly are they fighting about again?
Here’s a recap of how it all went down:
The potpourri of rage revolves around the legitimacy of their friendship, Lee — the cheating ex-boyfriend/husband they have in common — and Drita’s alleged running of the mouth about whooping up Karen and sending her to the hospital.
Then enter the conspiracy theories. When blood dripped down Ramona’s lip, she naturally attributed it to Derek Tobacco, a friend of Renee who stepped in to break up the fighting. There’s no way it could have been from Drita’s flying ring laden fists right?
Drita ran off screaming at the birthday girl that it was a set up to get her “jumped.” After Renee attempted to calm her down, she found her trouble-making ex-husband, Junior, and a group of guys ready to hunt down Derek, the alleged lady puncher, thereby turning the parking lot into a mad melee. Junior ignored Renee’s cries and slammed his hand against Derek’s car as he — astutely — drove away.
After the dust settled, Karen and Ramona, or as Drita likes to call them “Fatal Attraction and Lucifer,” discussed the birthday party from hell at Page Plaza Diner. Their chat included a few sly grins and an acknowledgment that perhaps it wasn’t Derek who was responsible for the bloody lip after all.
When the pair visited the MOB Scene Gallery in Manhattan, new cast regular of the show Ramona explained her connection to the Mafia as she is the granddaughter of Benjamin “Lefty Guns” Ruggiero.
The show ended on an unexpected love note. While strolling around Clove Lakes Park with her ex-husband soon to be sentenced back to jail, Renee finds out he shares her feelings and is still is in love with her.
