Last week, TMZ broke the story regarding Tami’s Ex-Manager “Jerry Silverhardt, who is now suing the reality star for unpaid monies Tami had earned during Season 2 and Season 3 of VH1 Basketball Wives show.
Earlier today Tami dropped in on Egypt’s radio show to set the record straight. In the interview Tami, affirms that Jerry Silverhardt was her manager for nearly eight years, and says that their contract has always been explicitly concise. Jerry was paid a commission for any gigs/bookings that he had booked and landed for Tami. However, if Tami booked a gig on her own, she was not ordered to pay Jerry a commission.
Tami denounced Jerry claims stating that he was not paid for Season 2. Tami says that Jerry was paid Season 2 and not Season 3. Tami break-down how she was casted for Basketball ives and the ultimate split of her and Jerry.
Tami says she herself contacted VH1 president and asked to be on the show. Tami then submitted her story to the producers of the show and the communication from there on after sustained with her and the producers. Jerry handled her salary for the Season 2, but Tami says she was dissatisfied with her earnings and felt that Jerry could have negotiated better. Tami then made a decision to terminate Jerry and seek new management.
The split of Jerry and Tami allegedly occurred after Season 2 and during the break-up time the show had not picked up for Season 3.
