Everyone seems to know the meaning and purpose behind the Christmas holiday but many of us may have little or no knowledge of the Hanukkah and Kawanzaa Holiday.
During a live taping of the Jimmy Kimmel show, the talk show host admits that he too does not the purpose of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, so he decided to poll other ethnic groups to see if they knew the meaning. In the video, staffers of the show attend a jewish deli and asked customers What is the meaning of Kwanzaa? The staffers then did the same, at a nearby African American barbershop and asked “What is the meaning of Hanukkah?
The responses were quite interesting.

Jimmy Kimmel then reveals that we all have alot to learn, and indeed we do. Suprisingly, many african americans don’t know the meaning of Kwanzaa, and you would think since we live in a technological age where computers are easily accessible and information is just a click of a word on google, folks would take advantage and educate themselves.
