Don’t Be A Quitter!!
No one seen it coming. The overly confident, bar spitting 15 year old , Astro was an X-factor favorite but his behavior last night has surely decreased his fan base.
Astro may have been saved by the judges last night but he more than likely will be back in the bottom two next week after his inappropriate manner.
During live taping of the X-factor elimination show, Astro and singer Stacey Francis were voted in the bottom two, and had to compete for the judges votes to keep them in the competition. But to the viewers surprise, Astro seemed bothered by it all and displayed a half-ass performance showing his emotions.

Astro’s mentor L.A Reid spoke candidly to Astro and stated that he was highly disappointed in his performance and attitude as an aspiring artist.
Nicole and Paula shared the same sentiments of L.A Reid but it was Simon Cowell that hammered the nail in Astro’s wall. Simon demanded that Astro, uncross his hands, stand up with his chin and show respect to his mother, his fans, and the show.
Let’s face it. Astro is still a kid and unfortunately like many youths and some for adults too, rejection and failure often times trigger different emotions in oneself. While some people can brush it off and decide to learn from it, others may avoid the issue altogether or act-out when facing the adversity of failure; and that’s exactly what ASTRO did.
Following his poor performance , The tweets and facebook comments were non-stop one the show aired, and the most common tweet that was trending all night was the the following:
“What wrong with Astro”, one person said. “Sometimes we need to lose in order to win Astro”, and “Check your attitude”, said another.
By the end of the show, Astro was voted to stay in the competition and Astro then cried tears of joy.
He’s a Kid people – give him a break. I’m sure he’s learned a valuable lesson from this.
