Well Herman Cain finally came forward to address sexual harrassment allegations.
The GOP presidential contender Herman Cain finds himself addressing allegations of inappropriate behavior, made by two former female employees of the National Restaurant Association when he led the organization in the 1990s. Cain said he was falsely accused and that a thorough investigation found the claims had no basis. He acknowledged Monday night that there was a settlement, contradicting a statement earlier in the day in which he said he had no knowledge of a settlement.

A day earlier, Cain had said he was unaware of a financial settlement given one female employee in connection with allegations Cain had engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with two former employees of the National Restaurant Association when he led the organization in the 1990s.
Cain now acknowledged on Monday that he was aware of an “agreement” stating
“it was not a settlement..”It was an agreement. Cain told CNN’s Headline News. “There’s a difference between a settlement and agreement, and it makes a difference to me.”
According Cain the settlement came under the advisement of his general counsel in an attempt to prevent public scrutiny. Here’s what he told fox news:
“My general counsel said this started out where (an accuser) and her lawyer were demanding a huge financial settlement. I don’t remember a number,”… “But there was no basis for this, we ended up settling for what would have been a termination settlement.”
The last time I checked a settlement plea involves the plaintiff (accuser) getting a monetary settlement and the other the defendant (the accused) getting off scott free and the charges are dropped. And from the looks of this case Herman appears to be guilty as charged.
