Outcast member Big Boi avoids jail time on drug charges.The rapper, who’s real name is Antwan Patton was busted on drug charges back in August in Florida for drug possession of Ecstasy pills, Marijuana, and MDMA powder.The rapper has been place on probation and was ordered to conduct 30 hours of community service, provide $2,000 to charities, and undergo random drug testing for the next three months.
Big Boi seemed pleased with the settlement agreement. The judge noted that the decision seemed “fair” given that this is the rapper’s first offense and he has never had substance abuse record. Hopefully this is a lesson learned for the 36 year old rapper.
