Last Night, LL Cool J was honored with the “I Am Hip-Hop Icon” Award by rapper Nelly. This award is not casually given, only true legendary artist are given such high recognition and I must say the rapper,actor,and community activist was worthy of this honor. As Busta Rhymes simply said: “LL is the culture, he’s hip hop.. he is not just a rapper”. But it was LL’s speech that was the most memorable of the night. LL gives a few words of advice to new and current artists.
